CGD Community Resources | PC's For People

Free Computers and Internet Service for CGDAA Community Members

Prioritizing health and safety is a vital part of our mission. As we saw with the pandemic and beyond, the importance of telehealth continues to rise. To help meet this demand, the CGD Association of America (CGDAA) has partnered with PCs for People, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to bringing low-cost technology and internet to communities in need, especially those requiring access to telehealth services. Eligible individuals in the CGD community can receive a FREE computer and internet hotspot with 12 months of service, offering access to a safe and convenient way of visiting the doctor. If you are part of the CGD community, check your eligibility by emailing us at info@cgdaa.org.

To learn more, visit pcsforpeople.org.

Useful Information:

Internet Service: Each hotspot comes with 12 months of service. The recipient will be emailed a notice 14 days before their service expires. They are able to renew online or over the phone.

Customer Service: If a recipient has questions about their computer, hotspot, or runs into any technical issues, they should call 651-354-2552 or email info@pcsforpeople.org.

Device limit: Computers and hotspots are limited to one each per household. If in need of a computer you can select a desktop or laptop device. If you need a hotspot for internet access, you can also order a hotspot. If you need more than one computer, please let us know.
